Laura D. Harrison - president of the Paulding County 9-12 Group was born and raised in Georgia. Her children are 5th generation Paulding County citizens and she has a great love for the state and the county but most importantly for this great country!!
Laura graduated from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. She went on to receive her associate's degree in business management her bachelor's degree in business administration from Columbia College with a minor in history and a master's degree in Project Management. She is a member of the Paulding Women's GOP group, active in the Paulding GOP group and has been to the American's for Prosperity training. Even with all of this she considers herself to be an independent when it comes to politics - she says she will vote for the best person and not for a political party!
Laura has been married to her husband Jon since 1992 and has two beautiful daughters whom she home schools. Her oldest daughter Jayda is 15 and is finished with high school. Jayda teaches the teen class at the 9-12 meetings (see her bio page). Her youngest daughter, Ashton, and her husband, Jon, are both actively involved with the 9-12 group also.
Laura hopes to be even more involved with local politics in the future!!
Jayda E. Harrison - 9-12 Teen Teacher - is an energetic 16 year old born in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents Jon (of Los Angeles, CA) and Laura (of Powder Springs, GA) Harrison.
Jayda is a homeschooled teen that has accomplished finishing high school before the age of 16!! Jay loves writing - having finished 3 novels and she is currently working on her 5th book. She also really enjoys debating - especially in all things political where she tends to go over the top to win a debate.
Jayda has a younger sister - Ashton (13) and several cousins she considers her best friends.
